THE CHALLENGE
Agriculture needs a new story for young people.
Growing up in Musanze, I saw both the value of farming and the pressures small farmers face—from irrigation and climate challenges to markets and changing youth interest. I also heard agriculture described as work for people with fewer opportunities.
Who it supports: students, school communities, nearby farmers and young people who can benefit from practical agriculture, climate learning, creativity and leadership.
